Deep blue cushion, pear drops, trilliant shoulders

Blue is the rarest colour we grow and the slowest. Boron concentration must stay inside a window of parts per billion for the full cycle; drift, and the stone turns grey-blue and dies in the hand.

Nocturne's four principal stones came from cycles 088 to 091, run back to back under an unchanged recipe. Nothing else in the vault matches them.

The settings are deliberately underbuilt. Each claw is 0.38 mm and the gallery is open to the skin, so the stones are lit from behind as well as above — the reason the blue holds at night, under a single point source, when most blue diamonds go black.
