The maison of grown light

A CRFTD diamond necklace presented on ivory silk

We are not a jeweller that adopted lab-grown stones. We are a laboratory that learned to make jewellery.

CRFTD was founded by three people: a materials physicist, a diamond cutter from Antwerp, and a setter who spent twenty-one years in a Geneva high jewellery workshop. The order of those disciplines is deliberate — the stone is designed before it is grown.

Nothing leaves the maison without three signatures: growth, cut, setting. Where a signature cannot be given, the piece is dismantled and the stone returned to inventory.

Four principles

  1. 01

    Origin

Every stone is traced to a reactor cycle, logged by the minute and delivered with its own record.

  2. 02

    Proportion

We cut to an in-house sheet, forfeiting weight where weight costs light.

  3. 03

    Restraint

A setting is complete only when removing another gram would endanger the stone.

  4. 04

    Permanence

Each piece is re-serviced by the maison, without charge, for as long as it exists.

In their words

  • They opened the reactor log before they opened the tray. I have never been shown a stone that way.

  • The setter described the angle of every claw from memory. That is the part you cannot buy twice.

  • Twenty-three weeks, and each one accounted for on paper. The waiting became part of the gift.

    L. Marchetti

  • Rapaport · 2026

Proportions held tighter than the trade standard demands.
